Alesia Dundiak is a therapist completing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey. Her work is rooted in trauma-informed care, with a particular focus on complex trauma — abuse, neglect, relational harm, and the chronic stress that shapes how a person comes to know themselves and move through the world — often showing up as anxiety, depression, or a persistent feeling that something is wrong with me.
Her clinical background spans the full continuum of care. She began at Carrier Clinic, working with individuals in acute crisis and severe, treatment-resistant conditions. She later worked as an individual and group clinician at Footprints to Recovery, providing trauma-focused treatment within both Substance Use and Mental Health tracks — supporting clients carrying histories of complex trauma alongside substance use disorders, grief and loss, reentry after incarceration, mood dysregulation, OCD, and suicidal ideation.
Her own experience of immigrating twice and navigating a significant career change has given her firsthand understanding of what it means to integrate a sense of self, live inside prolonged uncertainty, and stay connected to yourself through it. These experiences inform both her attunement and her approach. Clinically and personally, this shapes how Alesia shows up in the room.
Alesia provides individual therapy, couples and family counseling, and group therapy. She is trained in Gottman Couple Therapy (Levels 1 & 2) and EMDR. She integrates an IFS-informed approach with positive neuroplasticity and self-compassion practices to support nervous system regulation and healing that holds.
